Public Input Request

The Sonoma County Wood Recovery and Utilization Project is hosted three meetings to engage community members in the planning and design of the pilot as well as conducted a community feedback study.

Calendar of Meetings:
The Work Group met monthly toward the objective of creating a feasibility study to inform the pilot’s goals and potential implementation plans. Stakeholder meetings were open to the public and were held via Zoom along with one in-person meeting.

Summary of Activities:
During the course of 2024, staff, Working Group Members, and technical advisors prepared a feasibility study regarding the establishment of an entity to manage fiber flow from forests in Sonoma County. The calendar of activities followed this general schedule.
